Description
TriRoof Roofing Topcoat is the finishing layer for the TriRoof GRP Roofing system. Specifically formulated for roofing, this Topcoat is easy to apply by both brush and roller and cures to a tack-free finish.
TriRoof Roofing Topcoat is made from an isophthalic base resin and has been developed to ensure good intrinsic weathering properties and excellent UV stability. The topcoat comes pre-pigmented in Graphite Grey (RAL 7024) as standard. Please contact us on 01 466 3786 if you require topcoat in another colour.
It should be stored in a dry, clean and cool place (15-25 °C) in closed packages. The shelf life of the product is valid for this temperature range and it should not be forgotten that it will shorten at high temperatures. Products with the same charge number and date must be stored together. Another factor that affects the life of unsaturated polyester resins containing styrene is sunlight.
The TriRoof GRP Roofing System comes with a 25 year Guarantee when registered and installed by a certified contractor. To qualify to become an approved TriRoof installer, you must attend a one day Training Course.
Please Note: Catalyst/hardener (not included) must also be added to the topcoat in order for it to cure.
