    Summer Catalyst

    All resins, gelcoats and topcoats must have catalyst (hardener) added to start the curing process. The amounts vary between 1% – 4% by weight depending on the required cure time and temperature. Please view our Catalyst mixing chart. Catalyst is a corrosive material and must be handled with special care. Dispensers are strongly recommended for safe and accurate use. See section on hazards. Please Note: In order to comply with ADR Limited Quantity (Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) we can only ship in maximum units of 100gm eg: 1kg = 10 x 100gm.  For larger quantities, 2.5kg, 5kg & 25kg  please contact us on + 353 1 466 3786 as we are unable to dispatch these sizes through our normal couriers, they require Haz Chem drivers. The goods are in stock and available for collection if required.

  • Surface Tissue

    A Glassfibre tissue (35gm/m²) used for a final layer on top of Chopped Mat to obtain an improved finish. It is also used to improve chemical resistance on a gelcoat or topcoat surface, ensuring an even thickness, freedom from cracking, and a long life product – Or applied to dry Gelcoat to cover up the coarse glass pattern and form a smooth surface for the flowcoat to be applied. Uses 100g of resin per m². Supplied per meter / 1mt wide.

    Talc is an all-purpose inexpensive filler powder which is used to make resin into a bodyfiller. Also used in resin casting to reduce cost, shrinkage and heat generated by resin curing. Catalyst should be added before filler powder. Dark grey in colour.
