TriRoof Flexible Roofing Overlay Course (Half-Day)
Already an accredited fiberglass roof installer? Then this course may be just for you. Specifically geared towards roofers who have previously completed fiberglass roof training and would like to upskill and become an accredited TriRoof FLEX & HPX installers.
Unlike traditional GRP, both of these systems can be used to overlay existing roofing membranes, which can substantially reduce working time, as well as labour and material costs. TriRoof Flex improves on traditional GRP technology, sharing much of it’s performance benefits but as the name implies, it’s a flexible resin, meaning it adapts to the effects of thermal expansion.
TriRoof HPX also offers excellent flexibility and superior adhesion properties meaning it will bond to almost any surface. But crucially, HPX can be applied to damp surfaces and offers immediate protection against water ingress making it ideal for year-round use.
Upon completion, trainees will be able to register installations for up to a 20 year guarantee. (T’s & C’s apply). We do also offer full-day training for anyone who wants to become certified in traditional fiberglass roofing as well as these two new systems.

Presentation & Discussion
- Similarities & differences between the three systems
- The benefits of using each
- Health & Safety
- Demonstration on the layup of both systems
- Correct Catalyst mixing ratios
- Temperature and weather conditions
- Estimating and Costing
- Troubleshooting
Demo Session
- Prior fibreglass training is mandatory. Applicants must provide evidence of prior training in the form of an approved installer ID card or certificate.
- The training is delivered in an interactive demonstration-based format. Layup procedures are very similar to that of traditional GRP, so we assume that delegates are well versed with cutting trims, consolidation rolling, etc. from your prior training
