TriDrive Resin (Part A + Part B)

TriDrive Resin is a two-part, polyurethane resin that is specifically designed for binding dry stone aggregate for use on driveways and paving areas. The resin is extremely hard-wearing and UV stable, meaning it doesn’t discolour when subject to prolonged sun exposure.
TriDrive Resin comes in a 7kg pack size (split between 3.5kg Part A + 3.5kg Part B). This is specifically portioned out to bind exactly 100kg of aggregate.
Our range of dry stone aggregate undergo a special kiln drying process to ensure that mositure content is minimised, which could otherwise impact the resin’s curing process. We stock a range of colours and sizes which can be found here.

TriDrive Project Applications
TriDrive is manufactured as a binder with a resin-bound aggregate paving system. It is suitable for both external and internal use.

TriDrive is a permeable system and therefore SUDS compliant. SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) is the name given to the relevant UK Government legislation that came into effect in October 2008. SUDS are surface waste and drainage management methods that are designed to tackle excess water in a sustainable and economical way compared to conventional systems. This is to prevent flooding, particularly in built-up areas.
TriDrive UV Resistant Resin System for Bound Paving has been developed as a SUDS compliant permeable system. TriDrive UVR allows water to soak through the surface, helping rapid surface water runoff that causes flooding.
Aftercare
A TriDrive UV Resistant Resin System for Bound Paving requires minimal maintenance. To Maintain the appearance of the surface, regular sweeping with a stiff brush to keep the area free from leaves, loose aggregates, and any other general detritus. Mechanical brushes with steel/metal bristles must not be used. For any stains caused by oil spillages, most domestic detergents or degreasers can be used to remove ingrained dirt, with cold pressure washing. However, care must be taken to avoid high-pressure jet washing.
Shelf Life
The shelf life of TriDrive UV Resistant Resin System for Bound Paving is 12 months when undercover in dry conditions. Do not allow extreme temperature fluctuations.

Warning! Persons already sensitised to diisocyanates may develop allergic reactions when using this product. Persons suffering from asthma, eczema or skin problems should avoid contact, including dermal contact, with this product. This product should not be used under conditions of poor ventilation unless a protective mask with an appropriate gas filter (i.e. type A1 according to standard EN 14387) is used.’ Protective gloves to be supplied with this product.
Please be aware that from 24th August 2023, all professional and industrial workers (employed or self-employed), using mixtures containing diisocyanates at a concentration of 0.1% or more (e.g., insulation and filler foams used in construction etc.), must undergo mandatory training.
