With the growing interest in DIY, MID Glass Fibre Supplies Ltd can offer the general public a two hour non-certified presentation on all aspects of Glassfibre roof construction.
It is designed for the DIY enthusiast and the knowledge gained will enable the user to lay up a Glassfibre roof with confidence. The presentation is held at our premises in Baldonnell, Dublin 22, on Saturday mornings between 10am and 12 noon.

- Timber and Trims selection;
- Health & Safety;
- Tips on laying and repairing a flat roof;
- Correct Catalyst mixing ratios;
- Weather;
- Discussing – Valley lining/ Balconies/ Wet rooms/ Gutters/ Eco roofs;
- Troubleshooting;
- Questions & Answers.
We will demonstrate all our techniques using power point presentation and a mock up of a roof, and talk you through all of the aspects of Fibreglassing. No wet lay-up or open cans will be used.This short course is intensive, but the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable which creates a good learning environment.
