Acetone

Description

Acetone is a solvent that is widely used across the composites industry for cleaning tools and surfaces. It is highly effective at removing uncured resin / gelcoat & topcoat from brushes and rollers. It can also be used to clean pre-sanded laminates prior to laminating.

Acetone should be kept in a sealed container as it evaporates quickly and is highly flammable. It is not recommended for cleaning unprotected hands. For further information on best safety practices: see section on hazards.

Please Note: In order to comply with ADR Limited Quantity (Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) we are limited to sending out a maximum container size of 1lt and a maximum of 5 containers per parcel. Eg: 5lt = 5 x 1lt per container. For larger quantities, 2.5lt, 5lt & 20lt  please contact us on + 353 1 466 3786 as we are unable to dispatch these sizes through our normal couriers, they require Haz Chem drivers. The goods are in stock and available for collection if required.
